Magnetic control ensures the safety of the support assembly of the sample carrier in the process of falling impact mechanism. Only under safe conditions can the fall-impact mechanism be activated, and the sample carrier component will hit the low temperature copper base. The "anti-rebound" setting will prevent the carrier support component from bouncing on impact.
The rate at which the sample freezes, the efficiency of the upper end of the sample carrier to inhibit the temperature rise of the sample, and the effect of the soft support around the sample determine whether the sample structure is well preserved. If all the above measures are satisfied, the sample can maintain the intact structure at a depth of 10 μm.
Percussive sample preparation equipment
The percussive freezing sample preparation equipment, designed for the cryoscanning electron microscopy system, provides a sample carrier and a sample carrier that can be placed in a cryoscanning workstation or in a liquid nitrogen sludge processing station.
The frozen sample carrier can be easily separated in the cryogenic nitrogen environment. The sample carrier is then placed in a small liquid nitrogen container and transferred to the equipment. A hinged loading tool is required.
